Singer, Songwriter and Musician, Suzanne Sultry has reigned as a reggae superstar for more than a decade. Born to a Christian family living on the Island of Jamaica, Suzanne took an interest in the groovy drums and bass sounds of reggae music when she was about 4 going to 5yrs. It all started after hearing a groovy song titled ‘Baltimore,’ which inspired her love for reggae music. Suzanne honed her skill as a singer in the church, the foundation of her music career. Several years later, she ventured into professional music after maturing in her niche.
Although reggae isn’t the only genre Suzanne sings in, it’s the genre that defines her quality as a gifted musical artist. She is blessed with a sultry and expressive vocal styling deeply rooted in reggae, Jamaica’s indigenous musical genre. Inspired by superstars such as Robert Nesta Marley, Marcia Griffiths, Cynthia Schloss, Annette Brissett, Dennis Brown, JC Lodge and Nadine Sutherland, Suzanne relocated to Florida, United States, where she continues in music as a full-time career.
Suzanne is renowned for her exceptional vocal rendition with impeccable inflection, mesmerizing tone and enduring pitch that saw her providing background vocals for highly rated reggae artists in the likes of Marcia Griffiths, Freddie McGregor and others.
She has traveled wide and performed in different countries like Antigua, Canada, Turkey, and few other places. In addition, she had shared many staged concerts with famous musicians such as John Legends, Alicia Keys, Diana King, Marcia Griffiths, and more.
Suzanne’s first reggae song was titled “Stand By You,” co-written and produced by Zemroy Lewis of Zimma Entertainment. She released her first single “Crazy,” in 2020 on the Reggae Global Entertainment Record Label and eventually signed to the Record Label as a solo artist on June 25, 2021. Then came another new single “If You’re Not Back In Love,” in July 2021. An upcoming EP “Simply Suzanne Sultry,” is scheduled for release Summer 2022, which promises fans another soul-reviving and passionate delve into the singer’s gifted world of captivating music.
